- Eat dark green vegetables ( spinach, kale, broccoli, green beans ) at least three times a week. Dark green vegetables are packed full of vitamins such as iron and calcium.
- Drink more water! The reason you keep hearing this is because it is true we need to supply our bodies with a good amount of water each day.
- Try to eat at least one raw fruit or a handfull of raw vegetables everyday.
- Refirned sugars are not good for you so try and reduce your refined sugar intake.
- Eat the colours of the rainbow the bigger the variety of fruits and vegetables you eat the better.
Remember that you really are what you eat. Adopting a healthier lifestyle will only benefit you in the long run. So take it one day at a time and incorporate a few of these tips into your everday life. You will soon be feeling the benefits of a healthier and more energetic you.
